After a Hard Day's Work

Today, Wes wanted to have Jay lay down with him for a supposed nap. After a little bit of lying around, he told Jay he couldn't stay because he had to clean the kitchen. After Wesley mopped the kitchen floor, (yes, he mopped the kitchen floor - which he did a pretty good job), he said, "Daddy, do you want some juice?" I open the Refrigerator and found Wes' juice box in the way back shelf. As I was bending down and reaching for it, Wes comes around and grab's Daddy's juice from inside the refirgerator door and hands it to him. It was a beer bottle. Yep, we don't need a servant. We got one right here and he's free.

Tiger Toes

Wesley has these bulbous big toes. When he’s climbing on you, those toes tend to find your sensitive bits and really dig into your meat or bone. Jay started naming them his “Tiger Toes”. Hie-Ya! So now, when one his toes gets us, we usually say, “Ouch, your Tiger Toes hurt!” Last Friday, Jay was getting Wesley up. Rudy came following into the bedroom. As Jay turns away to get Wes ready, he sees Wes stroking Rudy’s back and saying over and over, in a soft voice, “Tiger Toes, Tiger Toes….”
